Citizens of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Syria, Georgia, Armenia, Egypt, China, Iraq, Oman, and Kazakhstan are covered by visa-waiver provisions.
Nationals of Lebanon, Venezuela, and Malaysia may obtain the required entry permits upon arrival at designated entry points, subject to the applicable rules and conditions.
Holders of ordinary passports from the following 28 countries may visit the Islamic Republic of Iran for tourism for a single, non-extendable stay of 15 days (permitted once every six months):
